Kai was born in 1977 in Kanagawa , Japan .
His musical roots lie in hip hop , soul & jazz . Inspired by dj Krush , he started learning about music production . He subsequently released an independently funded cd in 2004 .
He has since played many a gig in the Uk and Japan .
He later got into more techno & house based productions , garnering a lot of interest along the way , from various labels .
